After being bought as bride and moving to an isolated plot of land in the mountains, Eleonora meets a stranger in the woods who rouses in her the desire for something more.

Julia was raised in the mission distract of San Francisco by her mother and grandmother. Much of her experience growing up in a Latina household without the presence of a father informs the stories she writes and directs today. Julia takes personal narratives and transforms them through specific genre spheres, providing both metaphoric and literal interpretations on the experience of womanhood. Julia is both a director and writer, her work recognized and awarded in different festivals and programs around the world, including winning a Humanitas prize for her TV show “The Golden Children.”
